The Embassy of Nepal provides the following service free of charge.
(C1) Repatriation of Dead Body
- An application letter addressed to the Embassy by the next of kin with the details (name, address, telephone number etc.) of the receiving person in Nepal and the copy of the passport/citizenship certificate of the applicant
- Copy of death certificate
- Copy of the passport of the deceased person
- Copy of embalming certificate
- Free of infection certificate
- Coroner"s Certificate
- Declaration of the funeral Director
- Processing time: Same day
